Terms of use
These terms apply when you use eFreeNow on the web or in the iPhone app. eFreeNow is a free, non-commercial service: it does not sell anything, take payments, or show ads.
The service
eFreeNow lists free and discounted offers that verified local businesses publish. You can catch an offer to reserve it, keep it in your Wallet, and redeem it in person by showing your code. A catch holds one unit for 30 minutes, or until the offer’s redeem-by time if that is sooner. Some offers are for eligible users only, as their descriptions say.
Offers and businesses
Each business sets its own offer, quantity, dates, and redemption instructions, and is responsible for honouring them. A business can publish only after eFreeNow verifies it, and must have the right to make each offer and keep it accurate. eFreeNow may decline, end, or remove an offer or a business at any time.
Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple. A new account can catch and redeem offers; business access is granted separately and never comes from your Google or Apple details. Keep your sign-in secure, because you are responsible for what happens in your account.
Acceptable use
Do not publish or submit unlawful, misleading, or infringing content, payment details, government identifiers, or health information. Do not probe, disrupt, scrape, or misuse eFreeNow, or misrepresent yourself or a business.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at once from Delete account on the web or in the app. If you are the only owner of a business, deleting your account also ends its offers, removes the business, and cancels customers’ unredeemed claims on its offers.
Availability and backups
eFreeNow runs on free hosting plans and has no uptime guarantee. It may sometimes be slow or unavailable, and a business may end an offer early. Data is backed up every night, and the encrypted backups are kept for 34 days so the service can recover from a failure.
Responsibility
eFreeNow is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, eFreeNow is not responsible for a business that does not honour an offer, or for loss caused by the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes
eFreeNow may change or stop features, and may update these terms. The effective date above changes when the terms do, and using eFreeNow after a change means you accept the updated terms.
